1.   NIH Sponsored Research:  Principal Investigator, Syndrome X in HIV Infected Persons treated with HAART:  Insulin Resistance and Free Fatty Acid Metabolic  derangements associated with HIV and HIV treatment, Ongoing.

2.  CDC Sponsored Research:  Prevention for Positives Demonstration Grant, Awarded June 2005.

3.  AIDS Clinical Trials Group:  Active participant in studies evaluating therapy and prophylaxis strategiesfor HIV-related opportunistic infections, eg., PCP, MAC, Cryptococcus, Hepatitis C.

4.   Industry Sponsored Research:   Principal investigator and Coinvestigator on several studies examining medication adherence, genotype testing and pharmacoeconomics of highly active antiretroviral therapy. Co-investigator in trial to assess interventions for prevention of weight loss associated with acute illness in HIV-infected persons.  Co-Investigator on studies examining treatment of Hepatitis C in HIV infected persons.
